The Sacred Angels - “PEACE AT CHRISTMAS TIME” carries a global message of peace; that people have the power to come together and make life better for everyone, in a hook laden tune with hints of Wizzard, Low and the Cocteau Twins.

The Legendary Hearts - “COLD CHRISTMAS” is a glorious sonic experience driven by chiming guitars, rich 12 string acoustics, orchestral strings and soaring voices. The song was written during lockdown and contains a deeply personal message of feeling ‘down but not quite out’, struggling with the approaching festive season, yet ultimately finding peace and a sense of belonging to approach the New Year with positivity.

The Sacred Angels are Audrey Redpath (Vocals) and Evan Henderson (Guitar). The recording features a number of guest players including Scottish folk titans John McCusker (fiddle) and Phil Cunningham (accordion) alongside Band “A.”, who recently performed with Audrey in celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Associates’ ‘The Affectionate Punch’ album.

The Legendary Hearts are a long-established Edinburgh alternative rock band and vehicle for songwriter Ali Wilson when not being called on as the go to drummer in the capital. He is backed on this track by some of the city’s finest musicians.
